Wiebke Kolbe is a professor for history at Lund University, Sweden. Her research interests lie in the fields of comparative modern European history, tourism history and gender history. She has published widely on German seaside resorts and battlefield tourism as well as on parental politics and gender relations in Germany and Sweden. Among her recent publications is an edited volume on tourism history in the Nordic countries (2018).
